The shaft on this one climbs past the knee and then slouches back down the leg in loose folds, so the height is there when you stand and the boot relaxes when you sit. The finish is brushed to a soft nap that catches the light along each fold, and the toe tapers to a sharp point that keeps the line long from the knee down. Nothing interrupts the shaft, no straps and no seams cutting across the folds.

There is no zip. The shaft is cut to pull on, and the way it settles is a little different on every leg, which is the point of a slouch boot rather than a fitted one. The heel is a low stacked block, so you get the over-the-knee silhouette without committing to a stiletto for the whole evening. On a longer leg the fold falls just under the knee; on a shorter one it stacks a little higher up.

Black, grey and khaki are offered. The grey and khaki show the brushed texture most clearly, while the black reads as the plainest of the three. Sizes run US 5.5 to 12 and fit true to size, and the model is photographed in a US 7. Brush the nap gently to lift it, spot clean only, and keep these away from water.
