The illusion does all the work. The Inflatable Ride-On Rooster Costume makes it look like you are riding a giant rainbow-tailed rooster — your legs become its legs, a pair of stuffed dummy legs sit astride its back, and there is a bright orange rein to hold. It is the costume people ask to photograph rather than the one they politely compliment.

It is made from lightweight polyester and stays up with a small battery-powered fan that clips into the suit. The fan runs off the included battery box with four AA batteries, or straight off any USB power bank if you would rather not deal with batteries at all — the power bank route lasts far longer and is what we would suggest for a full night out. It inflates in under a minute, and it packs down to almost nothing afterwards. One size fits most adults from 5'3" to 6'3", unisex.

It suits Halloween parties and costume contests, office parties, parades and festivals, fun runs and charity events, stag and hen nights, and birthdays. There is no styling to think about and nothing to accessorise — wear normal clothes and shoes underneath, step in, switch the fan on and you are finished. It is also warm once inflated, which is worth knowing either way depending on whether you are indoors or standing outside in October.

Size & Fit

This is a one-size costume and it is sized by height rather than by chest or waist — the suit inflates well clear of the body, so build makes very little difference to the fit. It is worn over your own clothes. If you are taller than 6'3" the leg openings will sit high, and if you are shorter than 5'3" there will be extra length to gather at the ankle.
